Leadership

I have started to read the book the first 90 days and in this book it talks about how leaders are made or broke within their first 90 days. The book also talks about what leaders can do to show their teams that they are leaders with, a positive attitude, and the right skills and abilities to be the leader that the team as a whole as well as the individuals needs. So far this book has been very informative in discussing what really makes a good leader. I found it interesting that good leaders are made in only 90 days. But does this mean that a medeoker leader can not become a great leader by taking the time to find their faults and attempting to improve upon them to become a better leader? Understanding your faults and mistakes is part of the battle and process.

Leadership takes place in many different setting in face to face as well as in an electronic world. Being a leader in an electronic environment can be more difficult than in the face to face environment. Being a leader in the e-world means that you have to confedance in your employees to be able to complete the tasks presented to them without the direct supervision and support that a "regular" office job would provide for. A benefit of the e-world is that organizations can employee people from all around the world and the employees are able to all work together through online programs to complete tasks. Every situation is different and requires different skills and all leaders have skills that are better suited to face to face leadership or an e-workd leadership than others.
